For the purpose of sorting log sizes and maximizing pallet space we are
putting two rows of large logs and two rows of standard logs on a pallet.

We are assuming most retailers use a Standard, #1 Heat Treated
40” X 48” inch 4 way hardwood pallet like the one in this photo.

You may already have a dependable trucking relationships and we will work with whoever you prefer. We provide information on a few truck carrier companies and their equipment that differentiates on the way our product can be shipped and delivered to your distribution center, warehouse, store, or final point of sale.

Truck Carrier: Schneider and Swift
Type of Equipment: Dry Van
Max Payload on Trailer: 44,000lbs
Benefits: Unload from dock. Deliver to all 48 States.
Negatives: Payload is 4,000lbs Less Than Standard Flatbed Trailers. Rates are historically higher than Flatbed Trailers.

We are happy to assist you in setting up an account with a carrier and clearly identifying your cost per goods per unit once a contract has been established. We want to discuss with you a drop trailer program to save labor costs.

The Wood Guys will manage all scheduling for pick up of product and submit the carrier information to your Receiving Department so that your organization can set up a delivery date and time. We are willing to set the delivery appointments if the Receiving Department will confirm delivery date and time prior to pickup at our warehouse.

Benefits: Payload is 4,000lbs more than dry vans.
Negatives: Must be unloaded by forklift and not at dock.
